Hi Kali! Just stopped by to check out what’s cookin’ and I see it’s a gorgeous meal. Are you cooking all this yourself? I sure wish I could help. Funny, I just made myself a big bowl of chopped liver yesterday ’cause I was missing my grandmother. She and my grandfather used to own a deli in Queens and she did all of the cooking. I learned to make this stuff at a pretty young age because of her.

I hope this salon will be a delicious and festive success!

Hi Kali,

How happy I am to have encountered you! A client (patient of mine) mentioned your book on Trauma which I just ordered from the library because the beginning quotes looked so interesting. I then googled you and found out you are also an artist! That is my other, combined passion, and I too have used quite a bit of photoshop in the last few years (see http://www.joanbraun.com ) I especially like the series above, Head on a plate. I have used a lot of merged Christian iconography, but not in the arch way you have. I look forward to slowly reading more of your articles, book, blogs, etc.

Thanks. The stairs aren’t near my space, though — they’re from all over Berlin, quite a few staircases merged. I’ll post photos of the space from the opening party!
